Ann Ramsdell
Ann Ramsdell, Ph.D. (she/her) is a master-certified life coach, educator, and biomedical scientist. A proverbial outside-the-box thinker, Ann draws upon 20 years of personal and professional experience as both a breast cancer survivor and a medical school & women’s and gender studies professor to offer exciting - and oftentimes unexpected - perspectives on health and disease. Ann is passionate about helping women navigate life challenges. Through her innovative life coaching programs, retreats, and speaking engagements, Ann educates, empowers, and inspires women around the world to take charge of their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. In 2021, Ann was awarded a patent based on her breast cancer research, and has been featured in multiple print and broadcast media, including 2015 TEDxColumbiaSC, Hollings Cancer Center Changing What’s Possible campaign, and Quanta Magazine. Ann is thrilled to be a spokesperson in the 2023 Metavivor #ThisIsMBC IMAGINE project.

Kathy Washburn
Kathy Washburn is a cancer survivor and life coach who works with individuals who are currently navigating life’s most challenging transitions. She understands that cancer changes our lives and that being alive is much more than being cured. In this second career, her education and interest in positive psychology, post-traumatic growth, and narrative therapy combine to form her unique approach to personal and professional coaching. She gives science legs in her design of evidence-based exercises and practices that help participants re-integrate into life through the healing portals of post traumatic growth inviting them to rebuild and reconnect physically, emotionally, and psychologically in the after of cancer. During her own cancer journey, Kathy identified a severe gap in out-patient needs and has since founded Carved by CancerTM – a support network for cancer survivors.

Laura Lummer
Laura Lummer has more than 15 years of experience as a wellness professional. Laura has expertly combined her lived experiences of two breast cancer diagnoses with her certifications as a Metabolic Terrain Advocate and a Life, Health, and Nutrition coach. Her commitment to the wellness of breast cancer survivors extend beyond just their physical health. Through her “Better Than Before Breast Cancer” Podcast, and her “Four Pillars of Breast Cancer Recovery” framework, Laura has become a voice of hope and empowerment for women around the world. Laura’s coaching philosophy is rooted in the power of self-compassion. She believes that true healing and transformation start by learning to love and care for yourself while you go through the tough process of recreating life after a cancer diagnosis. Laura’s approach includes physical health aspects like diet and exercise and dives deep into nurturing the soul, mending the heart, and reigniting self-confidence in survivors. Laura offers more than just professional guidance; she offers partnership and understanding. Recognizing the uniqueness in each survivor’s journey, she also acknowledges the shared resilience that binds them all. Her authentic empathy, rooted in personal experience, sets her apart. Melissa Eppard
Melissa Eppard is a certified Life Coach and breast cancer thriver. She loves to support women in building resilience, managing stress, and making peace with their bodies. Her mission is to help women own their confidence and “take sexy back” after cancer! Melissa uses guided visualization, mindfulness tools, embodiment practices, and EFT Tapping to empower her clients. She lives and works in Kingston, NY and offers long distance sessions as well.

Sara Corckran
Sara Corckran is a certified positive psychology life coach who is passionate about helping others face adversity with optimism and grace. Her unique perspective stems from her experiences as both a survivor and caregiver; having faced breast cancer herself and supported her husband and sister through their battles. She believes that a positive mindset directly impacts the healing process. Her focus is on providing individuals with the tools they need to approach each day with optimism, intention, and strength.
